Its that time of year! Summer Time! With it comes our stops at Ice Cream shops! I love a good scoop of ice cream. Especially after a nice bike ride or a nice dinner out. When I take my bike out, I really like making stops at small mom and pop shoppes. I will preview shops all summer long. Couch Potato - Southington |
Couch Potato is a modern concept that evolved from a simple yet mouth-watering idea. The story began when my oldest son, Israel, crafted a delicious baked potato for our family, which instantly supercharged our taste buds! π₯β¨ Inspired by this flavorful creation, we felt compelled to share this culinary delight with our communities and neighbors. Then came a defining moment on October 26, 2022, when my fiancΓ©, Leonela, brought our baby boy, Kai, into the world. πΆ This joyous event became the catalyst for bringing our brainchild, Couch Potato, to life. Our mission is to spread the joy of this simple yet enticing concept far and wide! Join us on this culinary journey as we serve up delightful variations of the beloved baked potato. Stay tuned for more updates, and remember, there's always room for one more Couch Potato in the community! π½οΈβ€οΈ

I usually reserve this spot for day trips. But what I want to focus on the next issues are going to be the shoreline. We are going to be hitting the beaches! This weekend isn't going to be that great. But you can still head over to West Hartfords downtown and take in the biggest little festival! Sunday looks like a washout. Living in New England right. I will highlight beaches and what they have to offer. The good, the bad and the ugly. I will also highlight lakes as well. Because if you don't like the beach then Lakes are the next big thing! So prepare your trunk with beach chairs, towels, sand shoes and a cooler. We are going to the beaches starting next week! |
