The weather has been really great. Too bad gas is not! May I suggest still getting out there perhaps through a walking trail instead of driving. The Farmington Canal Bike Trail is really great. IF you park at certain locations you get to pass some really great shops while you take a stroll or a run. Perhaps taking a bike ride? For instance if you park near Southington downtown, you can take a nice walk along the trail, then go into the Factory Square building and get a drink, get something to eat or perhaps play on some vintage arcade games. Then walk up the road and get a pizza or some ice cream. Also, if you park up into Farmington near the Farmington river off Route 4, you can start your walk/ride north and get into Collinsville/Canton and stop at the little shops downtown. Grab a drink and a bite to eat before heading back. So just because you have a car, doesn't mean you can't use your legs! Have fun!
