This drive is somewhat like a previous one I did going North on Route 7, this one is going South on Route 7. We start on Route 84 west and once we hit Route 7 in Danbury we head South on Route 7. If your a lover of Malls, then Danbury Mall should be one of your stops. In there you will find your typical "mall stores" but one stands out at the far side of the mall and its called Primark. I gotta say the prices at Primark are super affordable. Honestly, I think the prices are better there than Walmart. The quality is really nice too. I think its worth the trip just for that store. You can eat there at the food court or keep going down Rt 7 and find some great mom and pop shops like Flobee's Roadside Stand. Here you will find Burgers, Hot dogs Sammiches (their word) and more. If your not into that then try Wooster Hollow Cafe they have a great selection and they serve Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Still not interestedd how about some Que? Hoodoo Brown BBQ. I am a sucker for Que. There is no rib I won't eat. Once your done filling up. Continue on down 7 and keep and eye out for Ridgefield Vintage and Coffee. Stop at this great store and check out vintage clothing, books, vinyl records and locally roasted coffee. If your in the mood for a good Brew keep on down 7 and find Nod Hill Brewery. Here you will find a tap room, depending on the day food trucks, biergarten and more. This is a great stop to stretch your legs. If not continue on Rt 7 south and you will be in Wilton Ct. go into town and explore. Turn right onto Ridgefield Rd. In town you can get an ice cream at Scoops Ice Cream & Candy shop or perhaps peek in Village Market. I like going into small town grocery stores to see what they have from local vendors. I love to check out pickles and potato salads or macaroni salads. Its like a treasure hunt. There are 2 things you can do to get back on 7. You can go to the end of town and find route 106 the left to Route 7 or go back to Ridgefield Rd. Your exploring its up to you. From here I would suggest heading down Route 7 you can either go onto Route 15 North to get back home or keep going until you see Route 1 North. This will take you through to one of my favorite places Stew Leonards then onto Westport. Once you cross Ruth Steinkraus Cohen Mem Bridge PULL OVER!! You gotta shop there! Its a great place to find great items and just spend the rest of the day. You can follow Route 1 from there back to 15 or keep going! Have fun!
